Local community support during COVID-19

During these challenging times, we’re all looking for ways we can support the community. Here’s a round-up of some of the initiatives our friends in the local area are taking up.

Empty properties

If you own a vacant property in the local area, please consider offering it as a place to stay for the wonderful doctors, nurses and workers who would otherwise be faced with long commutes each day.

If you’re interested in lending a helping hand, please email toby.brown@tlclondon.com.

Emergency food deliveries

Pear Drops emergency food deliveries are supporting the elderly and vulnerable in West London. During the Coronavirus pandemic, they are delivering freshly-prepared, nutritious meals with the help of your donations.

Solidarity Sports

A charity that supports and improves the confidence of children recovering from chronic trauma. They provide consistent care throughout the year but, due to COVID-19, have been forced to put their projects on hold.

Their families live in poverty cannot afford to buy all the essential food and household items, so Solidarity Sports are refusing to sit idle during the crisis. With your help, they can deliver essential care packages to those in need.

Refettorio Felix

Refettorio Felix is one of the last homeless centres open in SW5 providing food and vital services for those still living on the streets. We’re feeding upwards of 70 people a day, seven days a week and they need your help.
